Maxine Burky said that Burky’s family sympathises with Jennifer Garner.

Steven Burky’s aunt Maxine Burky revealed that the 36-year-old’s obsession is the result of a psychological condition, but insists that he is not dangerous.

“He does have a mental disorder. He’s supposed to be taking medication,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling New York Daily News.

“It’s been an infatuation for many years. He’s not dangerous,” she added.

“Something had to be done. I understand a stalker can ruin someone’s life,” she added.
